1. Do you serve customers outside your home country?
The platform is intended to accept requests for multiple jurisdictions, but each request is assessed for scope, capability, lawful service delivery and local requirements. Global availability is not a guarantee that every service is available everywhere.
2. How do I find a document?
Choose Documents, select the country or jurisdiction and category, then choose or search the relevant item. The list should update based on those selections.
3. How do I request a draft?
Choose Drafts, select the jurisdiction and category, open the specific draft service and submit the instructions requested in its form.
4. Why do I have to select a country?
Document requirements, execution formalities, language, fees and suitability may vary by jurisdiction.
5. Can I choose a state, province or territory?
Where sub-jurisdiction details matter, provide them in the request description. The current catalogue country selector may not capture every sub-jurisdiction.
6. Are all catalogue entries available?
Catalogue entries are starting points. Availability is confirmed after reviewing the intended use, jurisdiction, complexity and provider capability.
7. What does document preparation include?
The exact scope is item-specific and confirmed in writing. It may include formatting, organizing supplied information or preparing an agreed document output.
8. What does drafting include?
Drafting may involve preparing text from your instructions and source materials. Research, legal advice, negotiation and professional review are included only if expressly agreed and lawfully provided.
9. Are these legal services?
The platform provides document preparation and drafting support. It does not automatically provide legal advice, legal representation, notarization or regulated professional services.
10. Do I need a lawyer?
For complex, high-value, contentious or regulated matters, independent advice from a qualified professional in the relevant jurisdiction may be necessary.
11. How do I know what is included?
Open the service detail popup and review the scope, requirements, price basis, revisions and delivery terms. The final written order confirmation controls.
12. Why is a price shown as “from”?
It is an indicative starting estimate, not a guaranteed price for every fact pattern. The final quote depends on scope and complexity.
13. Are catalogue prices universal market rates?
No. They are internal indicative starting estimates and are not represented as verified universal market rates or legal fees.
14. How does local currency display work?
The website may convert a USD base using configured indicative exchange rates. These are not necessarily live rates; the confirmed quote states the actual currency and amount.
15. Can I negotiate a single document price?
You may request a review. Negotiation is not guaranteed and depends on scope, complexity and provider approval.
16. Can I negotiate bulk pricing?
Yes, bulk or repeat work can be considered for a custom quote. Scope, volume, quality controls and delivery timelines must be agreed in writing.
17. What is the $1 plan?
It is a limited offer for eligible simple tasks only. It does not apply to every document and eligibility must be confirmed before payment.
18. What is the $199 weekly plan?
It is intended for recurring support under an agreed scope and capacity. Included tasks, hours or limits, turnaround and exclusions must be confirmed in writing.
19. What does custom pricing mean?
A custom quote is prepared for complex, high-volume, specialized or multi-jurisdiction work after requirements are reviewed.
20. When do I pay?
Payment timing is stated in the written order confirmation. Do not pay until the service, price, currency and authorized payment destination have been confirmed.
21. Does the payment link automatically know my selected document?
A generic payment page may not carry your item, price or order reference. Follow only the payment instructions confirmed for your specific order.
22. Can I use Housing Buddy Razorpay?
Only if the business confirms that this is the authorized and appropriate payment destination for Documents & Drafts and provides the exact amount and order reference.
23. How do I submit my request?
Complete the service-specific form and provide the required contact details, jurisdiction and instructions. The current static build may prepare an email draft rather than submit data to a server.
24. Are files uploaded when I select them?
No. In the current static version, selecting a file does not securely upload it. If a form opens an email draft, you must attach files manually, and should not send sensitive files until the channel is approved.
25. Is there a secure upload portal?
A file picker is not a secure upload portal. Do not assume server-side upload, encryption or storage exists until the live implementation has been tested and documented.
26. What information should I provide?
Provide only information needed for the selected service: purpose, parties, dates, key terms, jurisdiction and relevant source materials.
27. Should I submit identity or bank details?
Do not submit passwords, payment PINs, full card data or unnecessary identity and financial information. Use an approved secure channel if such information is truly required.
28. Can I submit information about someone else?
Only if you have the authority or other lawful basis to do so. You may need to notify that person under applicable law.
29. How is my personal information used?
The privacy notice describes intended uses such as assessing requests, delivering work, communicating, billing, preventing abuse and meeting legal obligations. The final notice must match actual practice.
30. Do you sell client documents?
Client documents should not be used for unrelated commercial purposes. Any disclosures or uses must be lawful, transparent and consistent with the privacy notice.
31. Who can access my files?
Access should be restricted to people and vendors who need it for the stated service. The provider must verify and document actual access controls before making specific security claims.
32. How long do you keep records?
Retention should follow a published schedule based on purpose and legal requirements. Exact periods must be confirmed by the business before launch.
33. Can I request deletion?
You may submit a privacy request. The provider will assess applicable law and may need to retain some records for legal, accounting, security or dispute purposes.
34. Can I withdraw consent?
Where processing relies on consent, a withdrawal method should be provided. Withdrawal does not automatically undo earlier lawful processing or erase records that must be retained.
35. Do you use cookies?
The site should disclose actual cookies and similar technologies. Non-essential technologies must remain off until consent where applicable law requires it.
36. Can I reject analytics cookies?
The consent interface should provide a reject option where required and a way to change preferences later. This must be tested on the deployed website.
37. Are my communications legally privileged?
Not automatically. Sending a document to a preparation provider does not itself create legal privilege or an attorney-client relationship.
38. Can you notarize or certify documents?
Only if the specific service is lawfully available and expressly confirmed. Notarization, apostille, legalization and certification are not automatically included.
39. Do you guarantee government or court acceptance?
No. Acceptance depends on the receiving authority, applicable law, facts and required formalities.
40. How quickly will I receive the work?
A delivery estimate is provided after the scope and required inputs are reviewed. Missing information, revisions and third-party dependencies can affect timing.
41. How many revisions are included?
The order confirmation should state the number and type of included revisions. Changes to scope or facts may cost extra.
42. Can I cancel an order?
Contact the provider promptly. Refunds and cancellation charges depend on the confirmed terms, work already performed and mandatory consumer law.
43. What if the delivered document contains an error?
Report the specific issue promptly with your order reference. Corrections are assessed against the agreed scope and applicable consumer rights.
44. What if I selected the wrong jurisdiction?
Notify the provider before work begins. A jurisdiction change may require a new scope, price or cancellation and re-ordering.
45. Do you provide translations?
Only where translation is specifically listed and accepted. Certified or sworn translations require appropriate qualification and confirmation.
46. Can I use a document in multiple countries?
Not without checking local requirements. A document suitable in one jurisdiction may need changes, local execution formalities or professional review elsewhere.
47. What if my request is declined?
The provider may decline work that is unlawful, outside capability, missing essential information or cannot be safely handled. Any refund will follow the confirmed terms and mandatory law.
48. How do I complain?
Use the Contact page and provide your order reference, a concise description and the remedy requested. Applicable statutory complaint routes remain available.
49. How can I exercise privacy rights?
Use the privacy/contact route and identify the right you wish to exercise. The provider may verify identity and respond within the applicable legal timeframe.
50. Are these terms final legal advice?
No. Policies are a business-facing draft and must be checked against actual operations and the laws of relevant markets before publication.
Questions or requests should be sent through the website's Contact page. Do not send sensitive identity, financial, health, privileged or confidential records until the approved secure submission channel and handling arrangements are confirmed.
